The Mohegan Sun Resort and Casino located in Uncasville, Connecticut, is the world's second largest casino. It is located on 240 acres along the banks of Thames River. It is at the heart of the scenic foothills of southeastern Connecticut, where 60 percent of the state tourism is concentrated. It also features the state's only major-league professional sports team, the WNBAs Connecticut Sun, and is the home of New London's WMOS FM radio station.

The History of Mohegan Sun Casino
The Mohegan Sun casino was originally developed and managed by Trading Cove Associates a joint venture of Waterford Gaming, Sol Kerzner's Kerzner International (Formerly Sun International) and the Mohegan Tribe. In 2000 Trading Cove Associates gave complete control of the resort to the Mohegan tribe; TCA still receives a 5% dividend on the gross revenue generated by Mohegan Sun casino until 2014. The Mohegan Sun casino operates under a gaming contract which the Tribe entered into with the State of Connecticut on April 25, 1994.

Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates designed Mohegan Sun Casino's exterior and luxury hotel tower. Rockwell Group created Mohegan-inspired designs for the gaming space, retail and restaurant promenade and hotel lobby. Hirsch Bedner Associates designed the 1,200-room, 34-story luxury hotel interiors and meeting spaces.

Mohegan Sun acquired its first gaming venture outside of Connecticut with its $280 million purchase of the Pocono Downs Racetrack in Plains Township, Pennsylvania (right outside of Wilkes-Barre) from Penn National Gaming. Mohegan Sun renamed the property "Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs" and began a major expansion.

At Mohegan Sun, comps are known as Player's Club points. Points are earned while you wager at Slots, Tables, Keno or in our Race Book. These points then can be used to purchase anything you like, anywhere within Mohegan Sun.

Personally, I wouldn't bother joining the Mohegan Sun club. You'll be in the poor house before you get enough money to redeem you're players card for comps.

How do I get rated?

Easy...first be sure to become a Player's Club member. Membership is free and it only takes a few minutes to join. Cheating the casino is not encouraged by the management. A car is a simple means to get from point A to point B. A Porsche is a work of art. A Porsche is something timeless and beautiful. I think that the 80's style Porsche is the best cars around. This is my favorite car to date....
